The pieces have all been arranged from tunes collected from various old published collections.

Each arrangement is presented as standard notation, and also guitar tablature for the many gutarists out there who do not read standard notation.

Each of these pieces have been created for guitarists to have a basic arrangement to use for their own arrangements and longer improvisations.

A small number of the pieces worked best with what is called "Drop D Tuning" where the lowest E string is lowered to D.
