Native Americans were known to remember and recreate music and songs heard in dreams and visions. From old books by the song catchers who traveled to and often lived with various tribes we have gathered 12 examples of these "dream songs".
We have arranged 12 dream song melodies with guitar chords and a basic keyboard (or harp) background and bass. These basic arrangements can be the basis for your own improvisations. For those who may not read notated music and learn by ear, we have also created short MP3 samples of these melodies using various combinations of instruments, at times with improvised percussion.
